Addressing Cultural Competence with Quality Improvement (audio)

On November 12, 2008 and November 9, 2007, the National Quality Center (NQC) hosted a national quality improvement technical assistance webconference and outlined the need to address health disparities in HIV care by improving the cultural competence of services. Suggestions for assessing disparities in programs are provided and experiences and strategies to tackle these challenges were shared. Specific PDSA tests of change for improving cultural competence were provided as examples to help get programs started.
