On April 9, 2008, the National Quality Center (NQC) hosted a technical assistance webconference on collaborating across Parts for quality management. Though the exact quality management requirements differ slightly across Parts, the overall expectations remain the same. When grantees across Parts work in partnership for quality improvement, they have the potential to strengthen their individual programs and speed the pace of improvement by working collectively towards common priorities to improve the overall quality of HIV care for clients in their region. Numerous opportunities exist to better align quality management efforts to meet the needs of clients and reduce administrative burden on grantees. This session highlights these opportunities and shares best practices from grantees that effectively collaborate across Parts.
Learning objectives:
Understand benefits and uses of working collaboratively across Parts in your region for quality management
Learn real-world tips to develop shared performance measures, a cross-Part quality management plan and a joint approach to build capacity for quality improvement within your state
Learn best practices from other grantees on how to initiate and maintain cross-Part collaboration to align quality efforts in your state
