On June 25, 2008, the National Quality Center (NQC) hosted a technical assistance webconference on improving patient show rates to improve patient retention in care. Retaining patients in HIV care is a challenge faced by grantees across the country. This session demonstrates how to move from data findings to improvement efforts and shares practical strategies and tips from the field to improve your patient show rates for appointments.

  • Understand the patient-level and system-level factors associated with retention in care
  • Learn how to use your data to target and initiate improvement efforts to improve patient retention rates
  • Learn successful strategies from the field and know how to access resources and literature for evidence based strategies
