HIV Prevention Photonovellas (pdf)
HIV Department Staff
Sixteenth Street Community Health Center, Milwaukee, WI
2007; new topics in development

These publications were developed to address the educational needs of our low literacy patients, both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking.  The majority of our patient population is Latino, and with the disproportionately high rates of HIV within this minority group, providing HIV prevention information is crucial.  The photonovellas are distributed at support group meetings, in clinic waiting rooms, community agencies and local businesses.
