This NQC Quality Academy Tutorial addresses the important and difficult question of how to create true organizational change. Many organizations are good at improving processes, but struggle with building on these skills in order to make a lasting and profound impact on the organization as a whole. A key element of organizational change is having cooperation and collaboration across all parts of the organization.

The Tutorial examines the various aspects of the Malcolm Baldrige Award, including the importance of cooperation and collaboration.  Building a sense of common purpose throughout the organization relies on coordinating and alinging the organization’s written quality management plan and its strategic plan, so that the organization’s work on quality becomes an integral part of its short and strategy. While these challenges may not seem pertinent today for your organization, you can begin to lay the groundwork that will support your organization far into the future.

You will learn about…
